Job Summary Manages and analyzes all District cash and investments. Prepares and analyzes District budget. Prepares monthly Board financial reports. Duties & Responsibilities Manage and analyze investment of all district funds (CDs, money markets, etc.). Analyze cash flow needs to ensure all District financial obligations are met. Manage all cash receipts coming into the District. Support annual budget and forecasts, including variance analysis and trend reporting. Assist in preparing the Meritorious Budget Award Document. Analyze and review actual versus budget variances. Analyze payroll accounting to ensure payroll entries are proper. Coordinate with Payroll Department on payroll procedures and controls. Prepare and file all District quarterly and yearly payroll tax returns. Prepare monthly financial reports for Board: Treasurer’s reports, Balance sheet, revenue/expenditure reports, and investment reports. Oversee processing of relevant reports and returns required by state or federal agencies (PURTA, Social Security). Perform all budgetary transfers with Board approval as required. Provide financial analysis in response to management questions. Manage internal queries related to financial operations. Assist in reviewing and implementing accounting procedures and processes. Assist with student activity procedures and accounting as needed. Assist with specific projects and assignments as they arise. Create and maintain position procedure outline describing day‑to‑day duties. Provide day‑to‑day supervision and guidance to assigned staff; handle higher‑risk tasks as required. Manage staff performance, including goal‑setting and evaluation. Lead performance‑improvement initiatives within the department. Assist in assessing, designing, and maintaining internal controls over financial operations. Assist in identifying cost‑saving opportunities. Ensure compliance with organization policies and procedures. This position may require other duties as requested by supervisor. Salary & Schedule 2026‑2027 School Year: $95,868 – $115,042 annually. Placement upon salary scale depends on years of experience in similar position. Salary will be prorated based on start date. Schedule: 7 hours per day, 5 days per week, 260 days per year, based on district‑approved calendar; Full‑time, 12‑month position. Summary of Benefits Medical Coverage through IBX – PPO plans only.
