StevenDouglas has been retained on an outstanding Controller opportunity in Austin, Texas. This role is on-site, 5 days per week. Reporting to an exceptional CFO, the Controller will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records while supporting strategic decision-making. This role requires a proactive approach, strong analytical skills, and effective collaboration with cross functional teams and senior leadership. This role will manage a small team of 5. Responsibilities Prepare accurate financial documents by establishing reconciliation procedures, schedules, collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data. Provides status of financial condition by daily oversite of banking and other metrics, collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data. Record Asset acquisitions and disposals, as well as maintain depreciation records. Collaborate with upper management to identify opportunities for cost reduction, liability management, and intercompany balance review on a quarterly and year-end basis. Demonstrate accountability and critical thinking in driving financial integrity and supporting business decisions. Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial reports, and advising management on needed actions. Provide support to all departments in relation to any financial necessities. Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum 6-8 years of experience Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Multi-entity experience Experience with financial reporting Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail and accuracy Effective communication and collaboration abilities #J-18808-Ljbffr
