We are seeking an accomplished Controller with 15-plus years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably within the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate for this hands‑on position will possess a strong background in accounting and finance, demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, and have a proven track record of driving operational excellence. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of the company’s accounting and finance operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, AP, AR, cash management, some payroll functions and analysis. Perform month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial statements. Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements. Manage and mentor the accounting team; foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Collaborate with executive management to provide strategic financial guidance supporting business growth and profitability. Perform audits, tax filings, and other statutory requirements with external auditors and advisors. Analyze manufacturing cost structures and work closely with operations to optimize efficiency and reduce costs. Prepare, review, and present financial reports to senior leadership and stakeholders. Drive process improvements and leverage technology to enhance financial operations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). 15-plus years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in the manufacturing industry strongly preferred. CPA certification highly desirable. Deep understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, legal contracts, payroll, banking and finance, and internal controls. Proven track record in leading teams and managing complex projects. Must be willing and able to tackle the daily workflow in hands‑on manner. Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Strong proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Preferred Skills Experience with cost accounting and inventory management.
