Step into a high‑impact, hands-on Controller role where you’ll operate as the Mini CFO of a growing, fast-paced business. This position is perfect for someone who loves being immersed in day‑to‑day accounting, driving operational finance, and helping leadership make smarter decisions. What You’ll Own Oversee all day‑to‑day accounting operations, acting as the financial right hand to executive leadership. Lead and mentor a team of two bookkeepers , ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and professional growth. Manage physical inventory processes , costing, and supporting operational controls. Drive monthly close, reporting, reconciliations, and planning initiatives. Partner with operations to support budgeting, forecasting, margin analysis, and project-level visibility. Leverage Sage Intacct to improve workflows, reporting dashboards, and real‑time insights. Ensure compliance, internal controls, and best practices that strengthen the financial infrastructure. What You Bring 10–15 years of progressive accounting/finance experience , with supervisory responsibility. Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting or Finance preferred). Strong hands‑on approach—comfortable rolling up your sleeves and owning the details. Experience in Electrical, HVAC, Construction, or similar field is a plus, but the company is flexible on industry for the right technical fit. Inventory and operational finance experience strongly preferred. Expertise with Sage Intacct is highly attractive.
