This role oversees accounting operations, financial reporting, and system optimization while driving process improvements that support a growing, multi‑channel business. The ideal candidate blends strong technical accounting expertise with a modern, systems‑driven approach. Key Responsibilities Oversee month‑end and year‑end close, financial reporting, and GAAP compliance Partner with third‑party logistics providers on inventory accounting and reconciliations Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial analysis Implement automation and process improvements across accounting workflows Manage and develop accounting team members Provide financial insights and reporting to executive leadership Maintain internal controls and regulatory compliance Required Qualifications Active CPA license preferred Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Skills & Experience 8+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong technical accounting background with ERP optimization experience Experience with SAP Business One Advanced Excel and systems integration expertise Experience with inventory, payroll, sales tax, and multi‑channel revenue Detail‑oriented, analytical, and process‑driven Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross‑functionally Ascendo is a certified minority owned staffing firm, and we welcome and celebrate diversity.
