ABOUT THE COMPANY:
This is an outstanding opportunity for a qualified accounting management professional in the South Gate (Los Angeles) region to act as the Controller for a growing organization. The Controller will be responsible for the management/oversight of the accounting department, improving internal processes, and other hands-on accounting duties.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Oversee all accounting activities and develop/implement policies, procedures, and internal controls as needed
- Manage the analysis, consolidation, and accumulation of all company financial data and conduct financial reviews
- Prepare timely and accurate financial reporting for executives and stakeholders
- Oversee and manage the accounts receivable and cash flow functions
- Prepare financial forecasts and monitor budget variances as needed
- Oversee contract compliance and provide support for operations as needed
- Other duties as needed
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or related field required
- 3+ years of experience in managing an accounting department required
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance,e or related field required
- Prior experience working alongside Operations highly preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and strong organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience using Excel (mid to high-level)
