Our company is seeking an experienced and results-driven Controller to join our Building and Construction Business Unit in Springdale, AR. This role is a strategic business partner to the Location Manager and plays a vital part in driving financial excellence and operational success.
The Controller is responsible for managing functional accounting, control activities, and financial planning processes. The role emphasizes compliance with audit standards, fostering a culture of accountability, and supporting operational leadership to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:-
Strategic Leadership:
- Serve as a member of the Springdale Lead Team and provide financial insights to shape business strategy.
- Act as a catalyst for change, driving performance improvements and operational excellence.

Financial Management:
- Oversee forecasting, planning, reporting, and analysis functions for the location.
- Develop and maintain processes to ensure compliance with ASAT, internal audit standards, US GAAP, and corporate reporting requirements.
- Create and monitor internal controls to align operations with financial plans.

Operational Support:
- Provide financial engagement to operations and ensure alignment with key drivers for success.
- Lead initiatives to close performance gaps and achieve benchmark levels.
- Develop robust cost control systems to maximize profitability.

Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure strict adherence to the company's code of conduct and corporate policies.
- Maintain compliance with all audit requirements and regulatory standards.

Continuous Improvement:
- Foster a culture of problem-solving, addressing root causes, and using systems to plan and deliver effectively.
- Continuously drive process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.

Team Development:
- Lead and mentor the financial team, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Accounting or Finance roles.
- At least 3 years of experience managing or supervising others.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. (Visa sponsorship is not available.)
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA or CPA certification is highly desirable.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing accounting role.
- Strong leadership and change management skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of US GAAP and audit requirements.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to develop and implement cost control and financial planning systems.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization.
