Job Summary:
The Controller will be integral to steering the financial direction of the organization. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including ensuring compliance with regulations and providing comprehensive financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience in a leadership or team management capacity.
- Background within a professional services firm.
- Familiarity with financial analysis tools and frameworks.
- Experience in budget management and financial forecasting.
Day-to-Day Duties:
- Oversee the firm’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and analyze budgets and financial forecasts to guide strategic initiatives.
- Generate timely financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Implement and maintain financial controls to safeguard organizational assets.
- Coordinate external audits and support the audit process for financial integrity.
- Conduct financial performance analysis, identifying trends and recommending enhancements.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering professional growth.
- Collaborate with various departments to optimize financial processes and efficiencies.
Salary & Benefits:
Annual Salary: $85,000 - $100,000.
