Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with a dynamic, improvement-focused Plant Manager to drive site optimization and profitability.We will help you navigate the interview process, which will move quickly! The client is looking for an immediate hire!Growing manufacturer that has recently expanded is seeking a Plant Controller on a contract basis. As the Plant Controller you will report to the Head of Global Finance and work closely with the Site Manager. You will be responsible for the following tasks:Financial Reporting & Analysis: Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and on-time completion. Deliver insightful financial analysis and reporting to guide strategic decision-making.Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead site-level budget development and forecasting procedures to align with organizational goals.Risk Management & Compliance: Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies. Serve as the Site Compliance Officer, ensuring all activities adhere to legal requirements, corporate guidelines, and updated regulatory standards.Cost & Capital Control: Manage site expenditures, including CapEx, credit, and operational costs, ensuring they remain within approved budgetary limits.Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline financial workflows and enhance operational efficiency.Stakeholder Collaboration: Maintain strong partnerships with external vendors and banks while coordinating closely with global business units, corporate HQ, and shared service centers (tax, treasury, and credit).Audit Support: Facilitate and support both internal and external audit requirements to ensure transparency and accountability.Mentorship & Coaching: Provide direct guidance and professional development to the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.Candidates should have exceptional leadership skills. Qualified candidates should feel comfortable communicating at all levels, facilitating and delivering presentations, and partnering with operations to improve site profitability.REQUIREMENTS for the Plant Controller:1. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relatable field, ideally Accounting or Finance2. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar Plant Controller role in manufacturing3. Budgeting and forecasting4. Month-end and year-end closing5. General understanding of cost accounting6. Experience partnering with operations on accounting projects7. Supervision of others8. Experience working with ERP systems9. Willing to work long term on a contract basis10. Microsoft Office, including strong MS Excel skillsSkills preferred but NOT required:1. SAP2. International business3. Certifications4.
