Responsibilities Ensure the accurate and timely processing of positive pay transactions. Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Responds to inquiries from the Executive team regarding financial results, special reporting requests and the like. Ensure a clean and timely year-end audit. Supervise the general ledger group to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met. Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department. Provide training to new and existing staff as needed. Handle personnel issues relating to staff conflicts, absenteeism, performance issues, etc within department. Work with each direct report to establish goals and objectives for each year and monitor and advise on the progress to enhance the professional development of staff. Work closely with parent company in UK which involves frequent financial reporting, strategic planning, etc. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or finance including a CPA license is required. Minimum of 5 years of management experience working in a medium to large accounting firm specifically in public accounting. Exposure or experience with an ERO implementation a plus. Expert in utilizing software programs specifically, Microsoft Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to multi‑task and perform effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑stress environment Excellent interpersonal and management skills and able to work with a team to achieve results.
