Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing and operations analysis and evaluation will be a key area of focus in this role. Provides operational support including labor reporting, inventory management, and capital equipment utilization tracking.
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, customer rebates, and fixed assets.
- Establish financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, program/project monitoring, and reporting standards on a biweekly, monthly, and annual basis.
- Develop and enforce internal controls over company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements in compliance with GAAP
- Coordinate and assist with external review and related tax filings
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and reconciliations
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Monitor internal controls and compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Assist in forecasting, and variance analysis
- Work with IT to support the implementation and improvement of accounting, operations and sales systems and processes.
- Supervise and mentor accounting managers, supervisors and administrative staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting, registered or licensed CPA
- 15+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 10 years supervisory responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Extensive experience in manufacturing
- Extensive experience with tier 1ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar) and process automation tools. Proficiency in Excel.

- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Effective communication and leadership skills
