Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within an automotive dealership or dealer group Strong understanding of dealership accounting, floor plans, and OEM reporting Experience with dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, etc.) Advanced knowledge of GAAP and financial controls Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills CPA preferred but not required Benefits Competitive salary and benefits package Stable, growing automotive group Collaborative leadership team Long-term career growth opportunities Key Responsibilities Oversee dealership accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and cash management Prepare and review monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and reconciliations in accordance with GAAP Ensure accurate and timely manufacturer financial statement submissions Manage floor plan financing, including reconciliations, interest, curtailments, and audits Monitor dealership expenses, margins, and profitability; provide insights to improve performance Supervise and mentor accounting staff across the group Ensure compliance with OEM requirements, state and federal regulations, and internal policies Coordinate and support external audits, lender reviews, and manufacturer audits Oversee sales tax, payroll tax, and other statutory filings Partner with General Managers and department heads to support budgeting, forecasting, and internal reporting Maintain and strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets Jobs You Can Count On "They are so reliable at helping you find jobs." - Matthew, Staffmark Associate Join a Team That Works for You At Staffmark, we're more than just a staffing company—we're your career partner.
