Controls Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement control systems for various applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in control systems and controllers, with the ability to integrate various technologies to optimize performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop control systems for automation and process control applications.
- Implement and test control algorithms to ensure system performance meets specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems with hardware and software components.
- Conduct system simulations and analysis to validate control strategies and system behavior.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems and hardware integration.
- Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications and user manuals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in control systems and controllers design and implementation.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks, PID control, and sensor technologies
- Experience with embedded systems integration and electrical design.
- Proficiency in using tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters for testing and troubleshooting
Experience would be a Plus
- Hands-on experience with microcontrollers and systems on chip (SoCs), VHDL/Verilog, and RTL design is advantageous.
- Knowledge of PCB layout design and DAC/ADC interfacing is preferred.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Bitbucket or Subversion.
- Programming skills in C++, Python, and Matlab are required.
- Experience with GIT and Altium Designer is a plus.
