Control Systems Engineer ( PLC / Controls Engineer ) :
- Create functional specifications and design for vehicle control systems
- Create PLC controller and system performance requirements
- PLC programming
- Work closely with other electrical, mechanical and software engineers to design, optimize, debug, and troubleshoot PLC systems and software
- Support the testing and commissioning of the control systems installed on board of vehicles
- Create necessary system and customer technical documentation
- Create PLC controller and system performance requirements
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline ( Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, etc )
- Previous experience in such roles as :Control Systems Engineer,Controls Engineer, Instrumentation Engineer, PLC Engineer, SCADA Engineer, etc
- Experience with PLC ( programmable logic controller ) programming ( IEC 61131 ),
- Proficiency with network, controller area network (CAN Bus), field bus communication technologies ( CAN / CANOpen, Ethernet / TRDP )
- SCADA experience is a plus
- knowledge of Python and Java is a plus
