Now Hiring: Controls Engineer – Automation & PLCsWe're seeking a Controls Engineer with strong experience in automation systems, robotics, and PLC programming to support high-volume metalforming manufacturing operations. This is a new role created due to growth, based in Hartford County, CT, with occasional travel between local facilities.What You'll Do:Troubleshoot and improve controls for automated assembly equipment, robots, drives, and vision systems.Collaborate on electro-mechanical systems including sensors, actuators, and motor drives.Lead sustaining engineering projects and maintain technical documentation.Provide daily support to ensure quality, efficiency, and uptime on the production floor.What We're Looking For:8+ years as a Controls or Automation Engineer in manufacturing.Expert in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley preferred).Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of safety circuits and motion control.Experience in metalforming or high-volume production strongly preferred.This is a great opportunity for someone ready to take ownership of automation and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
