Role: Controls EngineerLocation: Johns Creek, GABill Rate: $50/hr on W2Client: AlconExperience: 7+ YearsSkills: Beckhoff Twin CAT PLC systemsJob Description:Overview & ObjectiveTo support Beckhoff Twin CAT PLC systems in a 24/7 medically regulated facility. Focus: investigation, development, and testing of PLC programs, Ether CAT diagnostics, safety system integration/messaging, and specification monitoring defeat analysis. High-quality documentation and adherence to cGMP/regulatory standards are critical. Scope of WorkTwin CAT Program Enhancement: Investigate, design, develop, test, and validate PLC code (Twin CAT, Ether CAT).Hardware Diagnostics: Implement/improve Ether CAT diagnostics, HMI messaging, and logging.Safety Systems: Enhance/test safety signal logic, failure messaging; ensure compliance with relevant safety standards.Specification Monitoring: Investigate and report on potential monitoring bypasses; develop mitigations, test mitigations to reduce OOS manufacture of goods.Key DeliverablesReviewed and approved Twin CAT PLC code (documented, version controlled).Investigation reports and recommendations.Test plans and reports.Updated system documentation suitable for regulated environment.Regular progress updates; final summary report.Engineer Profile & ResponsibilitiesRequired: Proven expertise in Beckhoff Twin CAT, Ether CAT, PLC safety systems, and industrial automation.
