Position: Controls EngineerLocation: Monroe, NCPay: Up to $160,000/yearExperience: 10 years of experience in a highly automated manufacturing environment.5 years of controls engineering experience with a fast-paced manufacturing environment running 24X7.Education: Minimum of 4-year Degree in Industrial Automation or Electrical or Controls or Electronics Engineering Discipline.Type: Full-time; Direct HireSchedule: Monday - Friday, 1st ShiftGreene Resources is seeking a Controls Engineer to join a growing and dynamic team!Job Description:Interpret various instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Troubleshoot equipment-related issues and develop both short-term and long-term solutions.Industrial networking and communication expertise.Create and implement engineering diagrams, plans, and models that meet product and customer requirements, providing practical and functional solutions for operational needs.Facilitate discussions to align key stakeholders, including both corporate and plant engineering teams.Influence personnel in decision-making through data analysis and critical reasoning.Apply problem-solving methodologies such as 5-Why, A3, and 8D to resolve practical challenges.Position Requirements: Experience with MES (Aveva) and ERP (SAP) is a plus.Strong computer skills, including the ability to organize databases and create structured data systems for team use.Strong knowledge of PLC, vision systems, laser and camera programming, and networking.Experience with PLC software and hardware, including Allen Bradley (Micrologix, CompactLogix, and GuardLogix).Proficiency in industrial robotics, including Fanuc, Motoman, and Universal Cobots.Understand the fundamentals of automation and key components such as light curtains, sensors, PLC programs, and logic systems.Greene Resources is part of Array Corporation, the leading technology-enabled workforce solutions company whose mission is to fix how labor is bought, sold and delivered to enable universal access to the American Dream.We are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
