Job Title: Controls Engineer PLC

Location of role: St. Louis Mo 63043 - Mostly onsite, but flexible scheduling

Salary $70K to 100K Depending on experience DOE.

Do you enjoy solving engineering problems, working across functional teams and interacting with customers? Are you a leader in your company who is looking to be recognized for strong work? We are looking for a talented, experienced controls engineering experience who can work on multiple projects simultaneously and communicating well with Project Managers and other team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering or other engineering discipline (required).
  • 5+ years of experience with PLC & HMI- driven mechanical equipment projects
  • PLC programming abilities, including Allen Bradley's ControlLogix or CompactLogix.
  • Proven critical thinker, problem-solver and self-starter.
  • Two to three years of automated system integration experience (preferred).
  • General proficiency with AutoCAD software
  • Pneumatics and hydraulics experience
  • A solid understanding of industrial control panel design and fabrication
  • A solid understanding of instrumentation and controls
  • Proficiency in written and verbal technical communication, including generating reports and conducting group presentations
  • A willingness to travel up to 35% for project requirements including installation and start-up activities. Occasional travel may also be for client and company sponsored meetings, trainings, industry related seminars, forums, and conventions

Company relocation - At this time, the client will NOT relocate for this role.

Travel: This role may require 35% travel - Some depending on client needs.
