Controls EngineerOur client is a manufacturer of precision round metal bars and shafts-including stainless, carbon, and alloy steel bar stock-used in high-tolerance industrial, aerospace, defense, medical, and manufacturing applications.Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. They should possess a Professional Engineering (PE) license, experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting, knowledge of HMI and SCADA systems, familiarity with industrial networking protocols and standards, and previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantThe successful applicant will have a bachelor's degree in Electrical, Controls, or similar engineering discipline, minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with industrial automation, PLC programming (Rockwell Studio 5000, Siemens), HMIs, SCADA, VFDs, servo drives, robotic control, and fieldbus networks (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, DeviceNet). They should also be proficient in electrical drawing tools (AutoCAD LT, EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical) and familiar with safety and control standards such as GuardLogix, RSLogix Guard Plus, NEC/NFPA codes.What's on OfferSalary ranging from $80,000 - $135,000 depending on experience, 2-3 weeks of PTO, full medical benefits 100% paid for by the company, company paid holidays, and 401k.
