A strong understanding of PLCs, HMI systems, and communication protocols.
Strong understanding of industrial controls and controls panels.
Proficient with Profinet Protocol & OPC-UA framework.
Excellent problem solving and communication skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, are also required.
- Controls Engineer Develop communication protocol between custom machine learning models and PLC to enable required machine interaction
- Develop PLC code for Siemens PLCs using decision from ML
- MODELS to facilitate required machine action
- Develop HMI for overall operation of machine
- Program VFD Drives
- Program safety circuits
