Recommended Qualifications:

1.) Education: Undergraduate degree in engineering or other related science or equivalent experience

2.) Experience: 8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, 3+ years of management experience

3.) Special skills/Certifications: Knowledge of industrial controls programming, PE License preferred

4.) Physical Attributes: Ability to lift and carry 50lbs, use stairs on a consistent basis, operate basic machinery

Authority & Responsibilities:

1) Provide leadership and direction to the Process Controls and Maintenance Department in the areas of engineering design, project planning/management, and process production support.

2) Coordinate Plant Engineering activities with Manufacturing, Maintenance, Process Controls and other appropriate departments as necessary.

3) Prepare and provide technical training and documentation to plant personnel regarding manufacturing equipment procedures and work instructions as necessary.

4) Develop talent to strengthen organizational capability, specifically in the areas of plant maintenance and process controls.

5) Research and implement advanced technology in the area of process equipment, facilities management and the optimization of existing processes.

6) Coordinate the execution of legacy equipment upgrades on processing and utility equipment.

7) Work with operations to optimize equipment and processes for efficiency and quality of production.

8) Assist in troubleshooting of plant processes and equipment operation.

9) Offer engineering support for production on off-shift/after shift hours.

10) Evaluate and approve/reject engineering standards and plant safety policies related to the use of equipment and utilities.

11) Maintain a safe working environment.

12) Perform other duties, as assigned.

13) Comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable local, state and federal regulations.
