Controls Technician ($32–42 p/hr + OT)

We are hiring multiple Controls Technicians to join a modern, highly automated, and exceptionally clean manufacturing facility.

Openings Available:

• Controls Technician - Day Shift 6AM – 6PM (4 on 3 off structure – 36/48 hours)
• Controls Technician - Night Shift 6PM – 6AM (4 on 3 off structure – 36/48 hours)

Your Role:

Troubleshooting & Support:

• Diagnose and resolve automation and controls issues across production lines
• Investigate process interruptions (sensors, sequencing, instrumentation) to restore uptime
• Support highly automated systems including processing, filling, and packaging equipment

Systems & Equipment:

• Work with PLC based systems (Allen-Bradley / Siemens) for troubleshooting
• Support instrumentation including flow meters, pH sensors, and electrical systems
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

Continuous Improvement & Projects:

• Partner with Controls Engineers on process improvements and system optimization
• Assist with equipment trials, R&D builds, and new system implementations
• Provide input on automation upgrades and reliability improvements

Education and Experience:

• AAS in Electrical / Controls Engineering Technology preferred (or equivalent hands-on experience)
• 3+ years of controls or electrical troubleshooting experience in manufacturing
• Background as an Electrician or Maintenance Technician with controls exposure considered
• PLC familiarity (Rockwell / Allen-Bradley required; Siemens a plus)
• Strong understanding of industrial automation, sensors, and instrumentation
• Experience with processing or packaging systems (tanks, pumps, fillers, etc.) highly desirable
