Job DetailsPosition: Cook – Food & Nutrition ServicesLocation: Bronxville, NYDuration: 8 WeeksSchedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shiftsTotal Hours: 40 hours per weekPossible Shift TimesBetween 5:00 AM and 7:00 PM (as needed)Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.Assist in preparing patient meals and short-order items as required.Ensure all food preparation complies with health, safety, and sanitation standards.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.Follow hospital policies and food service regulations.Support food service operations to ensure timely meal delivery to patients and staff.Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 2 years of training from an accredited cooking or catering schoolServSafe Certification (Required)Previous experience in:Culinary or professional kitchen environmentsFood handling and preparationShort-order cookingPatient meal preparation (preferred)
