Description of Work


This position is located at Cabarrus Juvenile Detention Center in Concord, N. C.

Recruitment Range: $34,971 - $44,509
The responsibility for this position will be to work alongside other Cooks and Food Service Supervisor II in the preparation of a variety of foods with various cooking methods which includes steaming, baking, boiling, frying, broiling, and grilling to meet production schedule. Food modifications, such as grinding and pureeing are job responsibilities. Position will maintain food and supplies inventory daily. Position will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing workstation and equipment used.

Applicant should maintain high standards of personal cleanliness and food sanitation.
Applicant will need to be flexible with scheduled work hours.

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with
State Benefits.
