Overview This individual helps direct the operations of the Information Technology Electronic Medical Records (EMR) teams impacting the Hospital and Hospital Outpatient Departments (HOD). This responsibility includes supervision of staffing, training, and scheduling. Maintains effective communication with administration, patient services leadership, physicians and staff. Ensures assigned services meet accreditation standards, are cost‐contained and provide quality service in an expeditious manner. You will need to demonstrate excellent customer service performance in that your attitude and actions are at all times consistent with the standards contained in the Vision, Mission and Values of Covenant HealthCare and the commitment to Extraordinary Care for Every Generation. In addition to the duties described above, IT Coordinator Hospital and Hospital Outpatient Departments is responsible for the following: Responsibilities Resource manager responsible for assigning the right people to the right projects at the right time. Manage and monitor resource utilization ensuring productivity and addressing issues of capacity. Manage and monitor service and support requests to ensure they meet established service level agreements. Escalation point for service and support issues requiring leadership support. Assist with hiring and organizational structure for areas in which they are responsible. Support the organization's Mission, Vision, and Values through demonstrated actions and leadership, focusing staff on their commitment to the strategic plan. Maintain current knowledge of advancements in areas of responsibility. Demonstrate excellent customer service. Contribute to organization success targets for quality, employee engagement, customer service, and net operating margin. Support and promote collaboration, cooperation, and teamwork across departments. Work in coordination with the IT Manager Hospital and Hospital Outpatient Departments to support all Hospital and HOD settings for both Covenant and affiliate facilities. Qualifications Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelors degree required. Masters preferred. Epic Certification in one application required; multiple applications preferred. A minimum of 5‑years leading projects and/or individuals or 2 years of leadership experience required. Minimum of 5‑years experience with vendor software and its operations preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proven experience leading people/teams/initiatives/projects. Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands‑on experience in software and web technologies. Excellent client‑facing and internal communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi‑tasking. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Must demonstrate ability to work independently as well as in small or large teams. Demonstrates the ability to resolve problems timely and effectively. Must be detail oriented and have a skill for information probing to fully understand the underlying needs that drive projects or cause roadblocks. Must be approachable and have the ability to deal positively with employees at all levels of the organization. Sound decision making ability. Protects and maintains the confidential nature of information. Ability to consistently meet assigned deadlines for projects. Ability to manage complex projects and assign/monitor tasks of others on application teams. Must demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude. Ability to accept and adapt to change. Demonstrate creativity and innovation to improve work processes. Working Conditions / Physical Demands Ability to maintain punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards. Frequent standing, walking, sitting, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, and near vision. Occasional lifting up to 10 lbs.
