The Role

The Coordinator of IT Logistics is responsible for providing support to Accala's staff and facilities across the U.S. through inventory and logistics management including both shipping and receiving.

What Youll Do

  • Managing IT Inventory utilizing Asset Management tools and best practices.
  • Coordinating IT equipment logistics for geographically diverse staff including shipping, pickup, and purchasing.
  • Configuration and preparation of IT equipment for deployment.
  • Receiving, cataloging, and storing IT inventory.
  • Managing returned IT inventory in accordance with Technology and Compliance policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Communicating with invested parties on equipment status and tracking using enterprise collaboration tools.
  • Maintaining appropriate inventory levels by coordinating with leaders on inventory purchasing and pricing.
  • Managing third-party shipping partner accounts and services.
  • Collaborating with other departments on shipping schedules.
  • Encouraging communication of new ideas, solutions, suggestions, and problems.
  • Participating in continuous learning and professional development.
  • Creation and maintenance of Logistics training documents and new procedures.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for optimization and efficiency in processes and workflows.
  • Facilitate overnight shipping with local shipping partners.
  • Coordinate recycling of hardware in accordance with Security, Compliance, and HIPAA regulations
  • Control shipping costs by identifying urgency-based impact to user.
  • Partner with onsite IT to test, troubleshoot, and support new and current equipment


What Were Looking For

  • Associate degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 1 year of logistics or asset management experience
  • Ability to work autonomously without constant oversight as well as in a team setting
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude and a passion for customer service and continued learning
  • Familiarity with Windows OS and computer hardware
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to communicate effectively to customers, peers, and organizational leaders
  • Outstanding organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated logical thought processes must have the ability to quickly learn new technologies, systems, concepts, and procedures
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office or other productivity suites
