Job Title: Coordinator Department: Logistics Location: RWJ Hamilton Hospital, One Hamilton Health Place, Hamilton, NJ 08619 Shift: Evening (Monday - Friday 3pm - 11:30pm, rotating holidays) Pay Range: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour Job Overview The coordinator utilizes a high degree of accuracy in obtaining all registration and financial data in order to provide necessary medical treatment and obtain proper reimbursement for the hospital. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent Medical terminology, office procedures, typing skills Preferred: Data entry and customer service experience Scheduling Requirements Full Time Evening Monday - Friday 3pm - 11:30pm Rotating holidays Essential Functions / Responsibilities Communicates with all customers exhibiting excellent customer service skills Interviews patients to assure proper scheduling, registration and certification of services on all patients in a timely and courteous manner Updates the Master Patient Index as needed Utilizes a high level of customer service in all aspects of the job Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
