MW Partners is currently seeking a Coordinator to work for our client who is a global leader in the media and entertainment industry.

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Assist with administrative duties, including managing schedules, expenses and contacts, and booking travel.
  • Track media coverage by compiling and distributing clip reports and highlight sheets.
  • Maintain, create and update press lists.
  • Manage PR team calendar across divisions.
  • Support the publicity efforts for the divisions' show launches, editorial initiatives, special projects, and more, including drafting and distributing press materials, guest listings, transcripts, and editorial highlights.
  • Draft press releases, media pitches and internal communications
  • Support event planning and execution for industry and company events, such as the Daytime Emmys.
  • Assist with social media posts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Excellent writer.
  • 1-3 years of experience in entertainment publicity, PR, or a related industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with entertainment industry trends, media outlets, and influencers.
  • Experience with media tracking tools and PR software (e.g., MuckRack, Meltwater, etc.) is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
  • Superior organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and provide attention to detail.
  • Collaborative and team-player.
  • Strong, polished interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interest in and understanding of news, entertainment, the media industry and world events.
  • High-level proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Slack.
  • Plus, if there's proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva
