Core Java Developer

Job Description Preferred: • At least 4 years of experience working on Core Java/Spring. • At least 4 years of experience with TDD based development and re-engineering of existing application to incorporate unit tests and functional tests. • At least 4 years of experience with Unix/python/perl scripting. • Knowledge of any batch scheduler (Autosys, Control+M etc). • At least 2 years of experience working on database to define queries and stored procedures (oracle). • Ability to support multiple applications when escalated for development team investigation. • In depth knowledge on various open source libraries needed for a standard integration project. • At least 1 year of experience working with test driven development. • Ability to break up complex design into phased approaches • Conduct peer code review and design review • At least 3 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects. • At least 3 years of experience in Design and architecture review. • At least 3 years of experience in software development life cycle. • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment • Experience in Investment banking (basic knowledge is a must to understand the requirement) • Analytical skills • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment Qualifications Basic: • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. • At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
