Core Java Developer

Job Description As a key member of the Investment Bank Margin application development team, the Margin Calculator team Java Developer will be responsible for software design, coding and testing of processes performing Margin Calculation methodologies. The resource will be involved in the full project life cycle while working with team management and other functional leads to implement effective technical solutions, leveraging real time multi processing technologies deployed on AWS. Required Skills Essential skills required: - 8 years experience with core Java development of real time multi processing/multi threading systems - Hands on experience in design, development & Implementation of object orientated programming - Knowledgeable and experienced with JDK, J2EE, Spring, JMS, UMQ, Kafka, JSON, XML, Parquet - Proven ability to design and implement high quality, scalable and flexible technical solutions -Proven track record meeting aggressive implementation timelines based on requirements Additional Skills: - Knowledge of risk or stressed based margining - Familiar with JDBC and RDMS such as Oracle, Cassandra, AWS Aurora, AWS S3 - AWS experience with EC2, Lambda, SQS, SNS Job Requirements
