Position Details: Long term Contract with potential to convert Investment Banking sector Education Level: Bachelor's Degree (Required) Job Level: Consultant (5+ Years of Experience) Team Profile: The Corporate Trading and Risk Department develops software for fixed income trading, risk management, and profit & loss monitoring. The team works on risk models, market intelligence tools, and distributed calculation infrastructure using Scala and Java, collaborating across various financial areas. Role Profile: You will be a hands-on Scala/Java developer involved in the full development lifecycle, focusing on bond position management & risk models, and their integration with other systems. Responsibilities include: Developing calculation infrastructure and workflow automation. Creating GUIs for data management. Working on other financial products. The role requires an inquisitive mindset, quick learning ability in Scala and financial products, and experience with real-time systems and technologies like Kafka and Zookeeper. You will also troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance. You will collaborate with global teams and interact with the trading desk to support their functions. Qualifications & Skills: Strong Scala or exceptional Java skills. Experience with concurrency, dependency injection, multithreading. Strong analytical skills and performance tuning experience. Ability to navigate large codebases, knowledge of data structures, design patterns, distributed computing. Desired Qualifications: Financial knowledge, especially in bonds.
