Are you a talented Associate Attorney specializing in corporate and business transactions seeking a rewarding opportunity in the Lexington area? Join our esteemed team and contribute your expertise as a Corporate Transactional and Business Law Associate Attorney!

Responsibilities of an Associate Attorney:

Assist in handling a broad range of corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, financing transactions, and general corporate governance.
  • Conduct due diligence, draft and review transactional documents, and assist in negotiations.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on various corporate matters, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the firm to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
Qualifications needed for an Associate Attorney:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in Kentucky.
  • 5-7 years of solid experience in corporate transactions and business law at a reputable law firm or relevant legal environment. Experience in other practice areas a plus
  • Strong understanding of corporate transactions and business law principles, mergers and acquisitions(A MUST), securities regulations, and financing transactions.
  • Proficiency in legal research, drafting agreements, and transactional documents.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly.
  • Proactive mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
