Corporate Accountant - Columbia/Baltimore Area

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Corporate Accountant to join our growing Accounting team. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting our financial operations, with a primary focus on Accounts Payables, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. What You’ll Do Manage Accounts Receivable activities and support daily cash management. Prepare cash balance reports and assist with timely deposits. Perform account and bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records. Assist with month-end and year-end close activities. Analyze financial data and investigate account variances. Support financial reporting and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies. Assist with internal and external audit requests. Help maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes. Identify discrepancies and recommend solutions. Partner with internal teams to support business objectives. Perform other accounting duties and special projects as assigned. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. At least 1 year of accounting experience. A basic understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles. Strong attention to detail and a knack for staying organized. Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and learning new systems. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and as part of a team. A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in your accounting career. Preferred Qualifications Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP. Familiarity with BI360 and/or Power BI. Experience identifying and implementing process improvements. A motivated, team-oriented professional with a desire to grow their accounting career.
