We are seeking a detail-driven Corporate Accountant to join our finance team and support ongoing financial operations, reporting, and analysis. The Corporate Accountant is responsible for executing day-to-day accounting activities, performing accurate and timely financial reporting, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys working across departments, values accuracy, and seeks to contribute to the financial integrity of a private organization. General Accounting & Reporting Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts. Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion. Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including cash, prepaid assets, accruals, and intercompany accounts. Maintain fixed asset schedules and record depreciation. Support preparation of internal financial statements and management reporting packages. Analyze variances and trends related to operating expenses, revenue, and balance sheet accounts. Provide actionable insights to management regarding financial performance. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes as needed. Compliance & Controls Support external audit and tax preparation activities by preparing schedules and documentation. Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and applicable regulations (GAAP). Maintain accurate documentation to support financial transactions and audit requirements. Cross-Functional Support Collaborate with operations, HR, and other internal departments to ensure accurate financial information. Assist with special projects, system improvements, and process optimization initiatives. Required Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2–5 years of accounting experience; corporate or public accounting experience preferred. Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP. Strong proficiency with Excel and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Preferred Experience in a privately held or mid-sized company. CPA certification or progress toward CPA. Experience with financial reporting, fixed assets, and balance sheet reconciliation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
