A Real Estate Firm is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join their team as a Corporate Accountant.Responsibilities:Perform cost allocation analysis to support accurate expense tracking and reporting.Manage treasury and cash operations, including initiating and overseeing wire transfers.Assist in the preparation and maintenance of annual budgets and ongoing forecasts.Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP.Support performance reporting and analysis for internal stakeholders.Partner with external auditors and assist with audit-related deliverables.Maintain accounting records for management company entities.Prepare journal entries, including monthly accruals, and perform general ledger analysis with appropriate documentation.Conduct detailed reconciliations and compare actual results against budget and forecast expectations.Coordinate and communicate with banking partners, legal advisors, and investors as needed.Monitor and ensure timely collection of management fees and other revenue streams.Manage entity setup and maintenance within accounting systems (e.g., Yardi).Prepare audit support schedules and assist in coordinating the annual audit process.Support treasury operations, including bank account setup and ongoing cash management processes.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.2+ years of experience in public accounting, private accounting, or a combination of both.2–5 years of relevant corporate accounting experience; experience with Yardi or similar accounting systems is a plus.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple concurrent projects.Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Highly detail-oriented with the ability to produce organized, accurate, and timely work.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with colleagues, investors, auditors, legal advisors, and banking partners.
