Overview
The Chevron Colorado Communications Advisor position is based in Denver, CO in the Rockies Business Unit (RBU) with the objective of preserving our right to operate, creating a favorable business climate, and ensuring that the company is a responsible business leader in the state.
As the Communications Advisor for RBU, you will:
  • Serve as principal RBU point of contact for all internal and external communications.
  • Develop and implement strategic communication and visibility plans.
  • Communicate key messages to diverse audiences.
  • Design complex presentations for business unit leaders.
  • Develop speeches and talking points as required.
  • Oversee social media, digital communications, and digital advertising to drive business results.
  • Serve as crisis response coordinator and media relations contact.
Requirements
  • 10+ Years of experience in communications, public relations/public affairs, corporate affairs, or related field.
  • Bachelors degree.
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate complex issues in a clear and concise manner to diverse audiences.
  • Experience communicating with leadership and at the executive level.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with many levels and functions in the organization.
  • Proven ability to engage both internal and external stakeholders to build effective relationships.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in the energy industry
  • Experience in communication/media relations
  • Experience in managing social media and digital platforms.

Relocation will be considered.

Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
