A well-regarded, boutique law firm in Northbrook is seeking a Corporate Associate Attorney with 4–6 years of experience to join its corporate practice group. 

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on a broad range of corporate governance matters, including entity formation, board and shareholder issues, and compliance obligations

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of corporate and transactional documents, including operating agreements, shareholder agreements, bylaws, resolutions, and ancillary transaction documents

  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions, including due diligence and closing processes

  • Work directly with partners and clients to manage matters efficiently and accurately

  • Collaborate with other practice groups as needed to support client objectives

Qualifications

  • 4–6 years of corporate law experience at a medium-sized or similarly structured law firm

  • Strong background in corporate governance and transactional work

  • Proven experience drafting complex legal documents with minimal supervision

  • Solid legal training and attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
