Corporate Attorney
The attorney in this role will support and lead work on a wide range of business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private offerings, capital restructuring, and other strategic corporate initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring 5 to 12 years of law firm experience and demonstrated first- or second-chair involvement in transactional matters. Strong experience in general corporate work, contract drafting and review, and M&A is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead or support complex business transactions, including M&A and private investment deals
- Draft, review, and negotiate corporate contracts and transaction documents
- Advise clients on general business matters, strategy, and structural planning
- Collaborate closely with colleagues and firm leadership across practice groups
- Manage multiple projects and timelines while maintaining responsiveness and high work quality
What We are Looking for:
- 5 12 years of corporate transactional experience within a law firm setting
- Demonstrated experience taking first or second chair roles on transactions
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills across corporate agreements
- Excellent academic credentials
- Ability to effectively balance priorities while delivering outstanding service
