SF based, mIdsize logistics company looking for a Corporate Controller to oversee accounting and finance operations. Company has been in business for over 30 years and is continuing to grow. Position will report into CFO, oversee a team of 4. Salary range offered is $130 - 160K DOE.
Position Overview:
- Manage general accounting team of five including an Accounting Manager (A/P, A/R, & G/L), financial planning, reporting, and analysis functions.
- Direct cash management among all entities and bank accounts. Cash management monthly forecasting.
- Oversee the financial strategic planning of the company by evaluating its performance and potential risks.
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Direct and manage all aspects of the external audits.
- Responsible for all financial reporting activities as all compliance reporting
- Strong Financial reporting skills which include actual vs budget analysis as well as additional ad hoc financial reporting.
- Develop long-term financial/ operational strategy for the company
- Coordinate with outside CPA firm
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or relevant field; CPA highly preferred
- Extensive understanding of finance and accounting principles and best practices for financial management in a nonprofit setting.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in accounting management.
- In-depth knowledge of QuickBooks and Netsuite accounting software
- An analytical mind with good organizational skills.
- Outstanding leadership skills.
