Corporate Leasing Agent The Corporate Leasing Agent supports the leasing and property management operations by managing the rental application process from start to finish. This role focuses on reviewing applicant information, confirming eligibility, maintaining organized records, and ensuring all screening steps are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with fair housing laws. The coordinator serves as a key point of contact between applicants and the internal leasing team. Primary Duties Application Processing & Review Examine rental applications to ensure all required forms, documentation, and information are submitted correctly. Conduct verification of employment, income, rental history, and background or credit reports. Contact applicants to request missing documents or clarify submitted information. Communicate application outcomes in a timely, professional, and respectful manner. Regulatory Compliance Ensure all screening activities align with fair housing regulations and applicable laws. Apply company qualification standards consistently and accurately. Recordkeeping & Documentation Maintain well-organized digital files for all applications and screening decisions. Upload and manage documentation within the company’s property management systems. Internal Coordination Work closely with property managers to review applications and support approval decisions. Collaborate with leasing agents and team members to keep workflows moving efficiently. Reporting & Confidentiality Provide regular status updates and reports on application activity and volume. Handle sensitive applicant information with discretion and confidentiality at all times. Required Qualifications High school diploma required; college coursework or a related degree is a plus. Prior experience in leasing, property management, real estate, or applicant screening preferred. Familiarity with fair housing laws and tenant screening practices. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational ability. Comfortable using property management software and office technology. Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment. In-office role with extensive computer-based work. Regular interaction with rental applicants.
