Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join its Financial Restructuring Practice Group in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of experience in restructuring matters, including out-of-court restructurings and complex business reorganizations. Duties Work on sophisticated in-court and out-of-court restructurings for various clients. Negotiate and draft loan documents and restructuring agreements. Exercise remedies and draft core restructuring documents and pleadings. Represent lenders and debtors in Chapter 11 proceedings. Requirements Minimum of four years of experience in restructuring matters. Admitted to the Illinois Bar. Excellent academic credentials. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Admission to the Illinois Bar. Skills Strong organizational and analytical skills. Excellent writing and verbal communication abilities.
