About the job
The person in this role ensures the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by scheduling and managing the completion of corrective maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines. The candidate will be required to follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications when troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
Review the maintenance plans and call in outside contractors when necessary to meet firm deadlines on repairs.
Develop and maintain required documentation including maintenance SOPs in FT Maintenance Software program.
Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions, including visual and sound inspections.
Use a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions. Complete repairs and parts replacements.
Demonstrate flexibility in working with other members of the team or where needed.
Repair, install, adjust, or maintain machines or vehicles.
Complete written records of work performed as well as entry into the PM software.
Complete preventative maintenance on food production line equipment as established in department procedures and audits, as required by regulatory agencies.
Maintain inventory of spare parts, consumables, and change tooling equipment.
Assist in the installation, assembly and testing of new machines and equipment when necessary.
Qualifications
. High School Diploma required
General mechanical knowledge
Electrical troubleshooting and experience with Industrial Electrical Knowledge (480v) on panels, conveyors, motors, sensors
Mechanical maintenance- pumps, gears, motors, sprockets
