We are looking for a skilled Cost & Planning Analyst to join our growing team in Wetumpka, Alabama. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a hands-on role within a dynamic food manufacturing company. You will play a crucial role in analyzing costs, supporting financial planning, and utilizing advanced tools to drive business insights.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed cost analysis to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
• Assist in preparing, forecasting, and monitoring budgets to ensure financial goals are met.
• Present financial reports, variance analyses, and KPIs to stakeholders, including owners and operational teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights on financial performance and trends.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables and vlookups, to enhance data analysis and reporting.
• Support inventory management and fixed asset tracking within the accounting department.
• Perform trial balance analysis and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement and growth.
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist with monthly and quarterly reporting.
• Use Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains to manage and analyze financial data effectively.

• Familiarity with Dynamics Great Plains or similar ERP systems.
• Experience in variance analysis and financial forecasting.
• Effective communication skills for presenting financial data to stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
