Cost Accountant Analyst Location: Nashua, NH. Working at Autajon Packaging Boston. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with stakeholders to support financial and operations goals and resolve issues. Review and analyze the effectiveness of costs. Define scope and criteria for analysis and measure actions. Prepare and present reports, recommendations, and alternatives addressing issues and opportunities. Perform cost‑benefit and ROI analysis for proposed projects. Review production jobs to ensure accurate estimates align with technology, mechanical and staffing capabilities. Conduct gap analysis and research to resolve variances. Produce monthly reports of findings for stakeholders. Communicate clearly in oral and written form with stakeholders, vendors and management. Take a proactive improvement approach and perform special projects as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS Principal Skills and Functions (3+) Importing data for reports, spreadsheets, graphs and flow charts. Operating and analyzing databases and software, data retrieval methods. Project‑management skills, personal effectiveness. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; build relationships at all levels. Positive team attitude, initiative, adaptability. ERP navigation and data extraction proficiency. Additional Job Requirements Understanding of organizational goals and objectives. Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem‑solving skills. Strong written and oral communication skills. Listening and interpersonal skills, logical, efficient, attention to detail. Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other advanced programs; excellent time management and organization. Ability to conduct research into system issues and products. Anticipate potential scenarios based on historical data. Understand order life cycle and job bag. Understand financial statements and relation to operations. Communicate ideas both technically and user‑friendly. Self‑motivated, ability to prioritize and execute tasks in high‑pressure environment with strong customer‑service orientation. Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience in similar positions; packaging industry preferred.
