This position will leverage accounting principles to record financial information and perform various analyses, including: inventory costing, production order and variance analysis, product and profitability analysis, financial reporting analysis (material cost analysis, actual vs. budget expense), and assist with the annual audit and budget processes.Analyze and interpret data from the reporting system, which includes: Sales (prices, volumes), Manufacturing Costs (variable, fixed), Efficiencies, Wastage, and Inventory.Perform requested analyses, requiring a strong understanding of the involved manufacturing processes.Conduct contribution margin analysis.Consult on product and customer profitability, identifying areas for improvement compared to objectives or historical performance.Produce finishing and loss reports for specific product lines.Analyze production orders and variances.Cost new products and perform inventory analysis as needed.Facilitate and review cycle counts, generating a weekly report.Complete month-end closing tasks, including production order settlement, FI-COGS reconciliation, and monthly reporting.Assist with the annual budgeting process and external financial audit.Set up and reconcile customer rebates.Set up and maintain R&D internal orders, closing them upon completion.Prepare journal entries.Perform other duties as assigned.Skills and AbilitiesCost Analysis: Experienced in inventory product costing, margin calculation, and standard costing systems.Manufacturing Costing: Possesses a strong understanding of manufacturing costs (variable and fixed), Bill of Materials (BOM), and production efficiencies.Budgeting: Demonstrated experience with the annual budgeting process.Work Style: Independent worker, combining intelligence, experience, and self-confidence to excel with minimal supervision.Results-Oriented: Prioritizes effectively to deliver projects on time and achieve desired outcomes.At least 5 years of experience in the Accounting Department of a manufacturing company.Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a higher degree preferred.Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting standards (preferred)SAP experience (FI, CO, COPA modules) and proficiency in MS Excel and BW Reporting #J-18808-Ljbffr
