We are currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Cost Accountant with manufacturing experience to join our finance team. Cost Accountant Responsibilities: * Conduct regular cost analysis to identify and report on variances between standard and actual costs * Monitor and analyze production costs, providing insights and recommendations for cost optimization * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and ensure accurate cost allocation * Maintain and update cost accounting records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards * Prepare and analyze cost reports, providing management with timely and accurate information for decision-making * Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts * Participate in inventory management and valuation processes * Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives Cost Accountant Qualifications: * Proven experience as a Cost Accountant in a manufacturing environment * Solid understanding of cost accounting principles and practices * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting software * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities * Effective communication and interpersonal skills How to Apply: If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for accounting, we invite you to apply for the Cost Accountant position.
