Full job description
Specialized Assessment & Consulting is seeking a school counselor with any of the following credentials: LPC / LCSW / LSSP to provide special education counseling services for about 8 hours per week in Corpus Christi, Texas.
SALARY: From $48.00/hr
LOCATION: Corpus Christi, TX 78413
START DATE: August 2024
CASELOAD: 16 students
SERVICE MODALITY: In-person
Responsibilities
- Provide counseling services to students receiving special education services
- Counseling evaluations as needed
- Special Education ARD meeting attendance as needed
- Consultation with school staff and/or other Specialized Assessment & Consulting personnel
License or Certification Requirements
Current license to practice in Texas as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology ( LSSP ), Licensed Professional Counselor ( LPC ), or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker ( LCSW )
Education Required
Master's degree from a recognized, accredited college or university
Other Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years experience providing psychological and/or counseling services to school-aged children
- Ability to practice without supervision
