Job Title: CPE Network Trouble Shooter
Location: Englewood, CO 80112 100% Onsite
Duration: 6+ Month Contract (with possible extensions or conversion to Full-Time)

Job Overview:

We are seeking highly skilled CPE Network Trouble Shooters to join our team in Englewood, CO. The ideal candidates will have extensive experience troubleshooting and resolving escalated issues related to Customer Premise Equipment (CPE), DOCSIS, and network infrastructure. You will work onsite to assess existing technologies, resolve performance gaps, and optimize the network infrastructure. The position requires hands-on expertise in routing protocols, security technologies, and advanced troubleshooting of CPE.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated field issues related to Access and CPE devices.
  • Perform performance and capacity assessments on current technologies and recommend improvements.
  • Establish security, connectivity, and access parameters for network devices.
  • Provide recommendations to optimize network infrastructure and performance.
  • Test, tune, and configure security devices, systems, routers, and switches.
  • Manage network services throughout the planning and implementation phases.
  • Program routers and switches and implement data and voice communication technologies.
  • Write and follow detailed technical test plans and create technical documentation.
Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in network troubleshooting and infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of DOCSIS and Customer Premise Equipment (CPE).
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting and debugging CPE and associated network technologies.
  • Solid knowledge of routing protocols, network hardware, software, and security technologies.
  • Expertise in ONU, CMTS, DAC, and EC systems.
Additional Skills Sought:
  • Advanced knowledge of the DOCSIS and EPON standards.
  • Working knowledge of CMTS platforms including:
    • Casa C100G
    • Arris E6000
    • Cisco cBR8
  • Experience with RPHY platforms such as:
    • Harmonic vCMTS and RPDs
    • Vecima RPDs
  • Knowledge of EPON platforms like:
    • ADTRAN 95XX and SDX-6210
    • Vecima (Nokia) 7360 and Distributed Access Architecture SF-4x, SC-2D3
  • Experience with switch platforms, including:
    • Cisco NCS/ASR
    • Juniper PTX/QFX/ACX
  • Expertise in routing protocols, including:
    • OSPF, ISIS, BGP, and v4/v6 Multicast.
  • Ability to write clear and detailed technical documentation and test plans.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, with a creative approach to solving network problems.
Onsite Requirement:
  • 100% onsite work required in Englewood, CO.
  • Must be local or willing to relocate within 2-3 weeks (no relocation assistance provided).
