Roles and Responsibilities:
The Ground C2 Systems Integrator serves as the subject matter expert (SME) to enable C4I systems throughout the DoD to share information to build a common operational picture (COP) and Common Tactical Picture (CTP) to enable leaders to make accurate and informed decisions based on situational awareness. The Ground C2 Systems Integrator at the Marine Corps Tactical System Support Activity (MCTSSA), Warfighter Support Division (WSD) at Camp Pendleton will provide support to assist Fleet Marine Force (FMF) and other DoD agencies to configure, integrate, resolve issues, and establish their C2 architecture to meet exercise and contingency operations in the CONUS and OCONUS regions. The Ground C2 Integrator is responsible for integrating a wide variety of C2 systems including, but not limited to Command and Control Personal Computer (C2PC), Joint Tactical COP Workstation (JTCW), Global C2 System (GCCS)/Tactical Combat Operations (TCO), Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) Eco-system, MAGTF Common Handheld (MCH), Command Post of the Future (CPOF), Tactical Service Orientated Architecture (TSOA), and Data Dissemination Service (DDS)- Configure GCCS-TCO software to provide Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Commanders the ability to map and display friendly and enemy locations as well as plan, develop, display, and transmit overlays of intended movements for
- Command and Control (C2) Situational Awareness (SA).
- Employ the JTCW within a multitude of Programs of Records (PoRs) including the Command Operations Center (COC), Network On The Move (NOTM), and Hatch-Mounted Satellite Antenna System (HMSAS).
- Establish Common Operational Picture (COP), and coordinate COP Synchronization Tool (CST) configuration with higher, adjacent, and lower echelon commands.
- Provide executive-level C2 technical advice and support Battle Staffs with the identification of information flow required to support Mission Essential Tasks (MET) in the identification of the configuration and integration of C2 systems.
- Integrate Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) and Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) hardware and software to support the integration, and optimization of web services, and thin client applications to enable C2 operations.
- Provide technical C2 guidance to assist operators and maintainers to configure, integrate, operate, troubleshoot and C2 systems.
- Introduce FMF to the Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and advances to emergent capabilities to achieve interdependence and operational effectiveness.
- Resolve complex C2 Systems issues related to system upgrades, network restrictions (ports, protocols, firewalls), and system versions.
- Interface with FMF personnel and US Government employees to provide break/fix support to C2 systems in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Research questions using available information resources: technical manuals, operating and administrator guides, fleet advisory messages (FAMs), and internal approved knowledge base(s).
- Identify and elevate situations requiring urgent attention.
- Review and approve all new KBAs within the Ground C2 Portfolio
- Ensure that all of the Ground C2 System Pages within the portfolio have current and relevant information.
- Generate, or maintain Tier II training checklists for each Ground C2 System in the portfolio.
- Mentor Ground C2 System analysts to learn and expand system knowledge.
- Create Tech Tube videos for the most common system issues within the portfolio.
- Quality control (QC) tickets to ensure they meet QC guidelines.
- Provide performance evaluations for team members.
- Ensure onsite support requests are staffed to support the Ground C2 portfolio.
- Review Ground C2 team after-action reports (AARs).

Requirements
- TRAVEL REQUIRED FOR POSITION - Must be able to obtain or possess a valid US Passport and be physically qualified to support military exercises and contingency operations.
- 5+ years in a relevant field
- Experience working with customers, addressing issues, and managing customer concerns and requests over the phone and/or in person.
- Experience supporting Marine Corps C4I systems and equipment.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in military training and education.
- Direct participation in real-world operations is desired.
- Strong active listening, data entry, and documentation skills.
- Willing to work in a 24x7x365 secured environment, demonstrate intuitive problem-solving skills, and allow for flexible scheduling.
