Key Responsibilities

Credentialing Coordination:
- Collect and verify provider documentation to meet organizational and regulatory standards.
- Process applications for initial credentialing and recredentialing.

Privileging Management:
- Review and maintain up-to-date provider privilege information.
- Coordinate with medical staff offices to ensure accurate privilege assignments.

Compliance and Verification:
- Ensure adherence to accreditation standards and state/federal regulations.
- Verify licenses, certifications, and professional references.

Data Management:
- Maintain accurate and organized provider records in the credentialing database.
- Generate reports as required for audits and compliance reviews.

Communication and Support:
- Serve as the liaison between providers, medical staff, and credentialing committees.
- Address inquiries and resolve discrepancies related to credentialing.
- Proven experience in credentialing and privileging processes.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards (e.g., Joint Commission, NCQA).
- Proficiency with credentialing software and database management.
- Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
- Strong communication skills for interfacing with providers and staff.
